Hi,
I’m an IT guy, software engineer to be specific. I am planning for MBA after 3 yrs work ex. which would be technical obviously. I was utterly confused with the point that there’s no use doing MBA without managerial experience already.
How can a tech professional gain managerial experience in the job ??
If that is the case then how did loads of techies made MBA’s till date & howcome B-Schools ask for 2-3 yrs experience ( no specification of managerial/technical).
Please help me in this. My head is spinned already.

I am a prospective candidate for Nanyang. I will have close to 6 yrs of exp in IT services industry (with 2 yrs international) by Aug 08 and have a GMAT of 710.

I was trying to get more information abt the MBA at Nanyang but was unable to find much info on their site. I will request you to pls throw some light on the following.
1. Quality of Nanyang MBA, in terms of profs, diversity of students and content of the course.
2. Job prospects in Strategy or Technology in S’pore post MBA.
3. Carrer Service support during job-hunt.

I will be thankful to you if you can spare some time to answer my queries or throw some pointers from where I can gather more info.
